Join Blackpoint Cyber as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud and on-premise infrastructure. You will partner with engineering teams to ensure system reliability, security, and efficiency through automation and continuous improvement practices.
What you'll do
- Design scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt for automated provisioning
- Optimize AWS environments for cost efficiency, security, and high availability
- Manage Kubernetes clusters with Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, and Kustomize
- Administer Confluent Cloud and Apache Kafka for enterprise data streaming
- Implement monitoring and alerting via Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty
- Facilitate feature deployments using LaunchDarkly and PostHog
- Diagnose complex system issues to maximize uptime and performance
- Collaborate with developers to integrate new services into existing infrastructure
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS architecture and security best practices
- Extensive experience with distributed data streaming like Kafka
- Proven skills with Redis caching and Amazon RDS management
- Experience with search platforms such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
- Proficiency in monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong background in production-grade Kubernetes administration
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems in Agile environments
Nice to have
- Experience managing Terraform across multiple environments with Terragrunt
- Multi-cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of security frameworks for cloud-native environments
- Experience with serverless computing and CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins
- Software development proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go
