Join Higharc, a well-funded startup transforming home construction through advanced design software. You will contribute to the core engine that handles geometric modeling, ensuring robust performance for design and analysis tools.
This position requires deep expertise in CAD concepts and the ability to navigate a large TypeScript codebase. You will collaborate across engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions while mentoring junior developers.
What you'll do
- Design and implement algorithms for complex geometric modeling challenges
- Collaborate with product and customer success teams to define feature behavior
- Write comprehensive tests to handle edge cases and ensure code robustness
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and code quality standards
- Identify gaps in existing products and drive improvements based on user feedback
What you'll need
- Five or more years of experience in CAD or geometric modeling domains
- Strong knowledge of meshes, BReps, NURBS, and BSPs techniques
- Ability to understand and work within a large TypeScript and React codebase
- Proficiency with modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows
- Excellent communication skills for discussing tradeoffs and timelines
- Professional fluency in English
