Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its growing engineering team in Bulgaria. You will contribute to both backend and frontend development, working with modern technologies like Java, Go, and React to enhance their Intelligent Work Management platform.
What you'll do
- Develop software across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and test automation.
- Ensure reliability and scalability of internal services and open-source tools.
- Deploy services and infrastructure changes using CI/CD pipelines in an agile environment.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and researchers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining high coding and infrastructure standards.
What you'll need
- Proficient in Java or Golang.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems serving millions of users.
- Familiar with algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts clearly.
- Legally eligible to work in Bulgaria and fluent in English.
