Join Runway to design the next generation of creative tools powered by general-purpose world models. You will partner with product, engineering, and research teams to define the design direction for simulations that accelerate progress in robotics, science, and storytelling.
This role requires a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys iterating on complex creative workflows. You will help build impossible things by merging art and science through intuitive user interfaces.
What you'll do
- Lead design initiatives for new features on web and mobile platforms
- Create and iterate on prototypes for complex creative workflows
- Partner with engineering and product teams to improve processes
- Ensure visual and UX consistency across all product offerings
- Suggest product improvements based on user needs and technical constraints
What you'll need
- Proven experience designing flows and high-fidelity UIs for web products
- Strong visual design skills and understanding of usability standards
- Ability to iterate quickly in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable exploring unfamiliar product areas without strict assignment
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and interaction patterns
- Understanding of the creative tool landscape and user needs
Nice to have
- Experience creating functional prototypes with AI tools like Cursor
- Background in video/audio editing, illustration, or typography
- Artistic potential and creative skills beyond interface design
