Join the User Research team at Rula to improve the patient journey from discovering mental healthcare to attending the first session. You will identify opportunities, frame ambiguous questions, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that shape product development.
This autonomous position requires leading end-to-end research studies while partnering with Product, Design, Data, and Marketing teams. Your work will ensure decisions are grounded in rigorous research and a deep understanding of patient needs.
What you'll do
- Lead research on patient experience to build confidence and trust
- Frame ambiguous product questions into clear research plans
- Translate patient insights and data into product recommendations
- Partner with Product, Design, and Analytics to ground decisions
- Identify high-value questions and determine appropriate methods
- Influence product priorities through measurable research findings
What you'll need
- 5+ years of UX Research experience with mixed methods
- Proven ability to build and lead independent research programs
- Experience improving acquisition, onboarding, or conversion journeys
- Skill in delivering high-quality research quickly and iteratively
- Strong communication skills for synthesizing complex findings
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
Nice to have
- Experience in multi-sided marketplaces or connected products
- Background in healthcare, mental health, or sensitive domains
- Experience owning longitudinal measurement or tracking programs
- Work on products where trust significantly influences behavior
