Join Morpho to engineer the backend infrastructure powering an open credit network used by institutional clients and major exchanges. You will design performant APIs and manage PostgreSQL data pipelines to serve accurate financial data at scale, ensuring sub-second response times for users worldwide.
What you'll do
- Develop backend features using TypeScript and Node for consumer products
- Design and evolve REST and GraphQL APIs with sub-second latency
- Operate and optimize PostgreSQL-backed data pipelines for reliability
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to ship end-to-end features
- Implement architecture improvements for caching and data processing
- Monitor and resolve production issues to maintain user experience
- Write clear documentation and async updates for distributed teams
What you'll need
- 8-10+ years of backend development with TypeScript and Node
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and PostgreSQL
- Experience with backend-for-frontend stacks or close frontend collaboration
- Track record of operating production systems at scale
- Strong interest in Web3 and comfort learning DeFi domains
- Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Strong ownership, autonomy, and low-ego team mindset
- Excellent written communication for async collaboration
