You will serve as the primary point of contact for construction activities, overseeing schedules, budgets, and OFCI equipment procurement. The team focuses on delivering robust data center infrastructure to support AI researchers and enterprises, ensuring alignment between design specifications and physical build-outs.
This position demands strong coordination with MEP contractors, internal subject matter experts, and vendors. You will drive project success through rigorous design reviews, site inspections, and cross-functional collaboration with network engineering and operations teams.
What you'll do
- Manage concurrent data center projects from design to physical build-out
- Oversee MEP contractors and equipment suppliers during construction
- Coordinate with internal SMEs in electrical, mechanical, and low voltage disciplines
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and forecasts with providers
- Review OFCI equipment submittals and assist with vendor selection
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on commissioning plans
- Conduct site visits to verify construction quality and design adherence
- Prepare detailed project reports for executive leadership and teams
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10+ years managing data center construction or critical infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and coordination with trades
- Experience reviewing technical design documents and commissioning plans
- Proven track record managing OFCI equipment procurement and installation
- Proficient in project management tools like MS Project or Primavera
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making
