You will own the full lifecycle of machine learning models that protect consumers from fraud. This position blends deep analytical research with the engineering rigor required to deploy production-ready code for real-time decision making.
The team tackles complex problems in financial risk and identity resolution, collaborating across product, engineering, and operations. You will drive insights that shape new offerings and support business strategy through rigorous analysis.
What you'll do
- Manage the full model lifecycle from data acquisition to monitoring
- Build foundational modeling for fraud and financial risk products
- Research new fraud types and develop identity verification solutions
- Write reliable production code for real-time partner decisions
- Present analyses to guide product, sales, and marketing strategies
- Collaborate with engineering to maintain data quality and access
What you'll need
- PhD plus 6 years experience or Masters plus 8 years experience
- Proven track record solving complex business problems with ML
- Strong end-to-end data science development capabilities
- Experience writing production code and associated tests
- Ability to communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders
- Must be legally authorized to work and live in the United States
- Startup experience is strongly preferred
Nice to have
- Familiarity with identity solutions or fintech industries
- Experience with state-of-the-art ML solutions
