Join the Cloud Engineering team at Jane to manage the infrastructure supporting thousands of clinics. You will define long-term technical strategy, break it into deliverable pieces, and collaborate with other staff engineers to scale the platform for future growth.
What you'll do
- Define long-term infrastructure vision and translate it into actionable delivery plans
- Drive resolution of ambiguous, cross-team technical problems
- Build consensus across engineering teams to implement large infrastructure changes
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to other teams
- Improve operational health by reducing alert noise and hardening the platform
- Collaborate with Application Security to meet compliance requirements
- Leverage AI tooling to increase team efficiency while managing risk
What you'll need
- Deep expertise in AWS multi-region deployments and high-availability services
- Strong command of Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
- Proven ability to design scalable, reliable systems using AWS components
- Experience operating databases at scale, including tuning and capacity planning
- Track record of driving consensus and leading large projects across stakeholders
- Experience scaling infrastructure in fast-growth companies
- Hands-on experience using AI as a coding and research tool
- Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation
