Join the Pro Verifications team to define the technical direction of business onboarding systems. You will design architectures that balance speed with strict regulatory compliance, ensuring safe and efficient customer verification.
What you'll do
- Define architecture and patterns for verification services
- Abstract KYC/KYB vendors to prevent provider outages
- Design fail-closed behavior and audit trails for regulators
- Eliminate recurring failure classes rather than patching them
- Write architecture decisions and enforce security by design
- Mentor senior engineers through code reviews and feedback
What you'll need
- Eight years building and running production systems
- Deep expertise in Rust and versatility in TypeScript/React
- Proven track record of setting durable technical architecture
- Experience improving team velocity via patterns or tooling
- Background in high-stakes domains like compliance or payments
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and secure design
- Familiarity with gRPC, Temporal, Docker, and Kubernetes
Nice to have
- Experience with KYC, KYB, or fraud prevention providers
- Comfort building systems with AI integration
- Prior work in crypto, fintech, or regulated industries
