Join a fast-growing technology firm building advanced AI-powered infrastructure for enterprise clients. As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead complex technical deployments and solve high-impact customer problems at the intersection of product, engineering, and infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and operational needs
- Build, deploy, and customize production solutions in client environments
- Develop integrations, automation scripts, APIs, and internal tooling
- Translate customer feedback into actionable product and engineering tasks
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application and infrastructure layers
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities
- Own projects from technical discovery through deployment and iteration
- Create reusable solutions that scale across multiple customer accounts
- Improve deployment processes, documentation, and system observability
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages
- Proven experience building and deploying production software systems
- Solid understanding of systems, APIs, integrations, and debugging
- Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-moving environments
- Strong communication and technical problem-solving abilities
- High sense of ownership and ability to drive projects independently
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/ML systems or infrastructure
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
- Previous experience at a startup or scale-up company
- Experience deploying software in complex enterprise environments
- Familiarity with LLMs, model serving, or AI agents
- Background in building developer tooling or automation
