You will join the team responsible for the foundational platform supporting all TRM products and internal AI agents. The work focuses on building a secure, reliable, and self-serve infrastructure across GCP and AWS, enabling engineers to deploy without manual intervention. You will own specific areas end-to-end, defining standards and implementing automation to reduce operational toil.
What you'll do
- Build multi-region Kubernetes platforms across GCP and AWS GovCloud
- Develop a self-serve internal PaaS for over 60 engineers
- Implement zero-trust secrets management using Vault
- Define and maintain SLOs, error budgets, and observability standards
- Manage Postgres databases on Kubernetes with high availability
- Encode compliance requirements like SOC2 and FedRAMP as code
- Create secure sandboxes for AI agent operations
What you'll need
- Experience building infrastructure platforms from zero to one
- Proficiency in writing software using Go, Python, or similar languages
- Deep knowledge of GCP and/or AWS core services and networking
- Production experience with Kubernetes (GKE/EKS) and IaC tools
- Ability to debug low-level networking and system performance issues
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and container technologies
- Strong understanding of security principles and database management
Nice to have
- Exposure to SOC2 or FedRAMP compliance frameworks
- Experience with AI-native infrastructure or agent workflows
- Background in financial crime investigation tools
