You will join the Mapper Team to build and service Process Maps, which are central to Mimica's product. The work includes developing scalable data-visualization tools and real-time frontend services that allow users to edit graph data and re-train AI models. You will own projects end-to-end, collaborate on architectural decisions, and help shape the engineering culture within a distributed team of senior engineers.
What you'll do
- Develop data-visualization applications for large datasets with scalability in mind
- Build real-time frontend services for collaborative graph data editing
- Own projects end-to-end from specification to deployment and observability
- Participate in architectural decisions and cross-team collaboration
- Improve team processes and rituals to increase effectiveness
- Provide peer feedback through code reviews and RFCs
- Assist in hiring and onboarding new engineering team members
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in React, state management, and frontend architecture
- Knowledge of advanced system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques
- Previous experience working with backend technologies
- Commitment to writing clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fast-paced scale-ups or as a founding engineer
- Background in graph or canvas-based rendering
- Experience with graph or geometry editing on the frontend
