Join the Machine Learning Team at Weave to democratize access to AI tools for developers. You will serve as a technical leader, bridging sophisticated machine learning with practical customer-facing products. The team focuses on voice and audio modalities, handling data for hundreds of millions of users daily.
What you'll do
- Design and develop ML infrastructure, tooling, and models for product teams.
- Build internal platforms to help teams incorporate AI into their features.
- Consult with stakeholders on ML patterns, tradeoffs, and best practices.
- Construct scalable services for data integration and event processing.
- Write high-quality, performant, and testable code for distributed systems.
- Coach colleagues and share expertise to foster team growth.
- Translate product goals into actionable engineering plans.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of experience in Machine Learning or AI.
- Expertise in audio and voice GenAI solutions at scale.
- Deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and Fine-tuning.
- Experience managing TBs of data or billions of records.
- Proficiency in deploying B2B multi-tenant ML applications.
- Strong skills in Python, Jupyter, and workflow engines like Dagster.
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
Nice to have
- Experience with low-latency natural language models and pipelines.
- Background in real-time audio models, ASR, or speech synthesis.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, GKE, and the Operator Pattern.
- Experience handling sensitive data such as PHI or PII.
- Knowledge of GitOps, IaC, and configuration-driven systems.
