You will own the strategy and roadmap for Render's foundational infrastructure, including compute, orchestration, and data storage. Working closely with engineering, you will shape architectural decisions that balance long-term reliability with the needs of modern AI development.
The role requires driving prioritization across platform investments and setting standards for how internal teams and external customers build on Render. You will develop a strong point of view on evolving platform primitives to serve AI-native builders effectively.
What you'll do
- Own the vision and roadmap for foundational platform primitives like compute and storage
- Drive prioritization of platform investments against near-term business needs
- Partner with engineering to shape technical direction and architectural decisions
- Develop strategies for platform evolution to support AI-native builders
- Set standards and abstractions to help teams ship with confidence
What you'll need
- 7+ years in Product Management focused on developer tools or infrastructure
- General knowledge of how modern teams use AI technologies
- Deep empathy for developers and ability to make technical tradeoffs
- Track record of turning ambiguous platform problems into shipped outcomes
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
Nice to have
- Previous experience working as an infrastructure engineer
- Experience building AI agents or related infrastructure
