You will own ambiguous problem spaces from definition to shipped solution, balancing speed with high-quality craft. The role requires influencing roadmaps, mentoring peers, and designing systemic AI workflows while advocating for users within regulatory constraints.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end design for complex audit workflows from problem definition to launch
- Partner with Product and Engineering to shape strategy and influence roadmaps
- Translate customer needs and research into clear user journeys and polished UI
- Balance rapid iteration with usability, consistency, and long-term product quality
- Advocate for users while accounting for technical and regulatory business constraints
- Own significant product areas and anticipate downstream impacts across personas
- Contribute to the design system and mentor peers to raise the bar for craft
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience in Product Design, ideally in complex B2B SaaS
- Operate as a strategic individual contributor who prioritizes key problems
- Anticipate how design decisions ripple across different areas of the product
- Influence senior Product and Engineering leaders beyond immediate collaborators
- Experience designing AI-assisted workflows at a systemic level
- Proven track record of coaching or mentoring other designers
- Ability to maintain a long-term vision while shipping incremental improvements
Nice to have
- Experience in audit, accounting, compliance, or regulated domains
- Track record of shaping design strategy across multiple teams
- Experience building or scaling design systems and team-wide processes
- Background in workflow-heavy, document-centric, or B2B SaaS products
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
