You will define the strategy and execution of Vanta's design system, ensuring it scales across GRC, Trust, and new product areas. The team builds shared component libraries, interaction patterns, and documentation to maintain visual consistency and engineering velocity.
Your work enables product designers and engineers to ship cohesive experiences while reducing design debt. You will partner closely with front-end engineering to ensure design-to-code fidelity and drive adoption through education and tooling.
What you'll do
- Build and evolve a scalable component library used across all product teams
- Establish design tokens, typography, spacing, and color systems
- Create documentation standards and design governance frameworks
- Partner with engineers to ensure design-to-code fidelity
- Drive system adoption through education and proactive partnership
- Evolve the system to support accessibility and platform scalability
What you'll need
- 7+ years of Product Design experience, preferably in Design Systems
- Experience with B2B SaaS or complex domains
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including variants and auto-layout
- Proven ability to govern design systems at scale
- Experience collaborating with front-end engineers on implementation
- Uses AI tools throughout the design process
