You will define and execute the product strategy for life science data offerings, translating market insights into clear roadmaps. Working closely with engineering and data science teams, you will drive the creation of scalable data products rather than bespoke solutions.
This hands-on role requires balancing customer needs with platform scalability and long-term business impact. You will operate at the intersection of life sciences, data infrastructure, and applied AI within an early-stage, mission-driven company.
What you'll do
- Own product vision and roadmap for life science data products
- Lead discovery, market analysis, and customer interviews
- Identify opportunities for scalable data applications
- Translate strategy into requirements and prioritization frameworks
- Design AI-enabled automation for data access and analysis
- Partner with engineering and data science on technical approaches
- Evaluate product performance to guide future investments
- Monitor industry trends to inform product differentiation
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years total professional experience
- 4+ years building data products for healthcare or life sciences
- Strong skills in product discovery and strategy
- Technical fluency with data infrastructure and LLMs
- Experience partnering with engineering and data teams
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in ambiguity at an early-stage company
Nice to have
- Experience building 0→1 products for life science customers
- UX or product design experience with strong workflow intuition
- Prior background in data science or analytics
