You will lead the expansion of Morpho’s lending protocol into new asset classes such as tokenized equities and undercollateralized credit. The position requires building frameworks to evaluate market potential and coordinating with engineering, legal, and partnerships teams to ship new loan categories.
Success involves delivering proof of concepts and establishing a clear strategic roadmap for global credit access. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to determine whether to build internal solutions or pursue external partnerships.
What you'll do
- Define strategy for expanding into new credit markets and sequence opportunities
- Evaluate potential markets like custodied Bitcoin and tokenized equities using data
- Identify institutional needs across various industries to unlock new loan types
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, and partnerships to decide build versus partner
- Design and execute proof of concepts with new counterparty types
- Assess regulatory and compliance requirements for each new market entry
What you'll need
- Proven track record of launching products from zero to one in greenfield markets
- Experience in crypto, traditional finance, or fintech with credit market knowledge
- History of shipping products that involve regulatory or compliance constraints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to drive decisions and create clarity in ambiguous environments
- Fast learner capable of synthesizing information from unfamiliar industries quickly
