Join the Product Security team at Jane, where security is treated as a partnership with developers. You will work with teams building software for over 70,000 clinics, focusing on fixing root causes rather than individual symptoms. The role requires identifying systemic themes in vulnerabilities and driving architectural improvements across the development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Identify common vulnerability themes and design architectural fixes with product teams
- Lead security projects including private package repositories and SCA tooling maturity
- Integrate AI for automated vulnerability analysis and draft code fixes
- Build trusted relationships with developers to explain risk and adopt secure practices
- Mentor teammates and represent Product Security in cross-functional groups
What you'll need
- Staff-level application security experience owning initiatives end to end
- Strong development background, ideally in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, or C#
- Ability to review pull requests and validate security fixes accurately
- Experience driving systemic architectural changes rather than just reporting findings
- Hands-on experience building automation or securing AI features in products
