Join the security team at The Browser Company to protect Dia, a browser enhanced with agentic capabilities. You will conduct original offensive research against the client, agent runtime, and backend services, focusing on novel threat models like prompt injection and sandbox escapes. The work requires building continuous scanning tools and partnering with engineers to eliminate entire classes of bugs structurally.
What you'll do
- Conduct offensive research on Dia, focusing on prompt injection and indirect exfiltration
- Threat model new surface areas and review features before they ship to users
- Design automated vulnerability discovery using model-driven scanning and fuzzing
- Collaborate with engineers to eliminate bug classes through structural fixes
- Plan and execute regular AI-assisted red team exercises against infrastructure
- Set security testing standards and raise the team's overall detection capability
What you'll need
- 8+ years in offensive security, exploit development, or product security testing
- Deep expertise in LLM agents, Chromium internals, OS sandboxing, or cloud infra
- Practical fluency in using LLMs as instruments for security tasks
- Ability to write production-quality code in Go, TypeScript, Python, or Swift
- Experience writing actionable findings and driving durable fixes with engineers
- Comfortable working in high-trust, high-ambiguity environments without hand-holding
- Must have 4+ hours of overlap with Eastern Time Zone team members
