You will join a small, high-ownership team building tools that accelerate software development. The work spans the web console, APIs, CLI, and infrastructure, focusing on turning customer pain into clear technical solutions. You will drive projects from ambiguity to rollout while mentoring teammates and raising engineering standards.
What you'll do
- Own product work across web console, APIs, CLI, and internal tools
- Translate ambiguous customer issues into technical plans and execution
- Improve developer workflows for builds, caching, and integrations
- Design consistent and evolvable APIs and data models
- Debug production issues across services and cloud infrastructure
- Mentor team members and lead through design docs and code reviews
What you'll need
- Staff-level judgment across backend, API, UI, and operations
- Experience leading projects from ambiguity to production rollout
- Deep technical skills in backend, full-stack, or infrastructure
- Strong debugging abilities across apps, databases, and cloud systems
- Focus on developer empathy via clear APIs and useful documentation
- High emotional intelligence and clear communication skills
- Seven or more years of production engineering experience
Nice to have
- Background in CI systems or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Docker, BuildKit, or remote caching
- Familiarity with auth, SSO, billing, or observability tools
