You will define architecture, mentor engineers, and solve complex scalability challenges. The role requires strong judgment in using AI tools and collaborating with stakeholders to de-risk major projects.
What you'll do
- Define and drive technical strategy and architecture across product areas
- Lead technical design for complex features and high-impact initiatives
- Mentor engineers to raise technical standards and code quality
- Conduct code and design reviews to reinforce maintainability
- Identify and address architectural risks and tech debt proactively
- Spearhead green-field development for new products when needed
- Participate in technical interviews to evolve hiring standards
What you'll need
- Meaningful experience as a senior software engineer in full-stack web development
- Proven track record leading complex, high-impact engineering initiatives
- Experience mentoring experienced engineers and raising team standards
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions clearly
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications and data architecture
- Focus on query performance and data integrity in large systems
