The Policy team builds services that determine and enforce access rights on the Delinea Platform. You will serve as the technical lead, guiding architecture decisions for policy evaluation, just-in-time access, and multi-tenant service integration.
This position requires driving technical direction, establishing code quality standards, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with other platform teams on cross-service changes.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture and technical direction for policy and workflow services
- Design systems for defining, evaluating, and enforcing access policies
- Ensure correct access granting and revocation across event-driven services
- Collaborate with platform teams on integrations spanning multiple services
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and operational readiness
- Mentor engineers and translate product requirements into technical plans
What you'll need
- Eight or more years of experience building production backend systems
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks
- Experience with distributed, event-driven microservices and messaging
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to lead technical decisions with minimal supervision
Nice to have
- Experience with policy engines like Open Policy Agent (Rego)
- Background in security, identity, or privileged access management
- Familiarity with Azure Cosmos DB, Redis, or Angular
