Join The Browser Company to redefine how software is built by developing an AI-driven internal software factory. You will partner with infrastructure and AI teams to create a cohesive platform where agents handle code generation, debugging, and reviews. This position focuses on improving system ergonomics, latency, and cost to maximize engineering leverage.
What you'll do
- Build an internal platform where users describe needs and the system implements them
- Integrate AI coding tools, virtualized environments, and CI into a unified product
- Optimize system latency, cost, and usability based on engineer feedback
- Define technical direction for the software factory without direct reporting lines
- Scale compute infrastructure for macOS, Windows, and Linux agent verification
What you'll need
- Five or more years in developer tools, build environments, or low-level systems
- Proven ability to set technical direction and operate with high autonomy
- Experience building elegant and maintainable productivity tools for engineers
- Comfortable working in high-trust, high-ambiguity environments
- Must have four hours of daily overlap with Eastern Time Zone
