Hims & Hers seeks a Staff Engineer to lead technical direction for the Fulfillment and Pharmacy Engineering Front End team. You will build and support self-service platforms that handle pharmacy operations and customer order fulfillment, ensuring solutions are safe, reliable, and scalable.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture for scalable and performant frontend solutions
- Drive adoption of common frameworks and coding standards
- Integrate AI tools while maintaining patient safety and quality
- Mentor engineers through pair programming and documentation
- Define multi-quarter frontend architecture roadmaps
- Collaborate with designers to create intuitive user experiences
- Implement monitoring and incident response processes
What you'll need
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Track record of setting frontend technical direction
- Proficiency in React, React Native, NextJs, and TypeScript
- Experience with Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and Redis
- Hands-on experience using AI in engineering workflows
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize projects without management oversight
