Join the Konnect team at Kong to build the future of API management. You will architect Kong Identity, a multi-tenant platform supporting complex organizational hierarchies and enterprise security. The work focuses on high-performance authentication, token lifecycle management, and global infrastructure optimization.
What you'll do
- Design advanced token management systems with real-time revocation
- Lead development of extensible claims engines for dynamic attributes
- Architect global identity infrastructure for sub-millisecond latency
- Build rate limiting and fraud prevention against credential stuffing
- Implement enterprise identity federation via SAML and custom adapters
- Drive compliance implementation for SOC 2, FedRAMP, and GDPR
- Mentor engineers on zero-trust architectures and service mesh patterns
What you'll need
- 7+ years building production identity platforms at scale
- Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0 extensions and OpenID Connect
- Experience architecting multi-tenant platforms with isolation
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and HSM integration
- Knowledge of global infrastructure and geo-distributed validation
- Understanding of enterprise integration like SAML, LDAP, and SCIM
- Proven track record in threat modeling and security event detection
