Join Crogl as a technical anchor for an engineering team building a fully autonomous AI team member for Security Operations Centers. You will own the architecture and design for critical platform components, ensuring reliability and scale for customers defending their digital assets.
This position requires driving high-stakes technical decisions and establishing engineering best practices. You will collaborate with product and design teams to translate roadmap items into robust engineering plans while mentoring senior and mid-level developers.
What you'll do
- Own architecture and technical design for your team's platform area
- Resolve ambiguous, high-risk technical problems before they block progress
- Build core parts of compound AI systems including agents, LLMs, and RAG
- Lead mission-critical initiatives from problem framing to production
- Champion coding standards and AI-native development techniques
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and hands-on guidance
- Partner with product and design to align on priorities and requirements
What you'll need
- 8+ years of back-end engineering experience
- Experience operating as a technical lead or architect
- Deep knowledge of architecting and scaling distributed systems
- Fluency in Go, Python, or other major statically typed languages
- Hands-on experience building production AI systems like LLMs or agents
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Track record of taking products from concept to market at scale
- Experience with evaluation and reliability practices for LLM products
- Depth in cybersecurity domains like SOC, SIEM, or detection engineering
- Early or founding engineer experience at a fast-moving startup
