As a Staff Technical Program Manager at Hims & Hers, you will own the strategic direction and execution of high-risk programs at the group and organizational levels. You will act as a technical integrator, identifying architectural misalignments and building scalable operating models that connect engineering, product, and business priorities.
This position requires translating long-range strategy into actionable roadmaps while resolving systemic blockers. You will partner with senior leaders to shape how technology is built and delivered, ensuring alignment across multiple domains and influencing key build-versus-buy decisions.
What you'll do
- Own strategic programs with ambiguous scope from framing through delivery
- Design scalable execution frameworks and cross-team operating rhythms
- Resolve systemic blockers and maintain roadmap alignment with OKRs
- Identify architectural risks and system-level issues across domains
- Influence technical roadmaps and build-versus-buy decisions
- Make decisions to shut down programs or redirect resources when needed
- Mentor other TPMs and assist with interviewing and onboarding
What you'll need
- 6+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager
- Experience operating at group or organizational level
- Success in designing frameworks for ambiguous, high-risk programs
- Broad technical fluency in systems and architecture
- Ability to translate strategic vision into multi-team roadmaps
- Track record of mentoring and developing other TPMs
- Exceptional cross-functional communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
