As a Strategic Fixer, you will tackle ambiguous, high-stakes problems that span multiple teams. You will move beyond advising to owning outcomes, working directly with senior stakeholders to diagnose issues and execute solutions.
The role requires structuring messy situations, analyzing data, and partnering with Product and Engineering to fix integrations or operational bottlenecks. You will ensure critical initiatives stay on track until the problem is fully resolved.
What you'll do
- Own complex customer and product problems from diagnosis to resolution
- Structure ambiguous issues into clear hypotheses and workstreams
- Analyze data and feedback to identify root causes
- Lead implementations involving payroll and system integrations
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define and drive solutions
- Coordinate across teams to unblock work and maintain momentum
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Communicate directly when priorities or assumptions shift
- Turn recurring problem patterns into product improvements
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for critical implementations
What you'll need
- 2–6 years at a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm
- Experience solving ambiguous problems for senior stakeholders
- Strong structured problem-solving and hypothesis development skills
- Exceptional analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decisions
- Executive presence and communication skills for C-level interactions
- Ability to drive outcomes across teams without direct authority
- High level of ownership, staying with problems until solved
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Curious, resourceful, and persistent in finding solutions
- Willingness to challenge assumptions and push through ambiguity
