Join LILT as a Subject Matter Expert to help train AI systems on Indian retail and consumer-facing contexts. You will design operational scenarios, adapt evaluation rubrics, and review responses for accuracy and realism across supermarkets, pharmacies, and department stores. This role leverages your domain expertise to improve how AI handles customer service, compliance, and sales challenges.
What you'll do
- Design realistic retail scenarios in Telugu or English based on Indian operations
- Adapt evaluation rubrics for problem-solving and compliance tasks
- Review AI and human responses for factual accuracy and policy compliance
- Create gold standard solutions reflecting best practices in retail and pharmacy
What you'll need
- Native-level Telugu proficiency with strong professional English skills
- 5+ years of experience in retail, store operations, or pharmacy management
- Background in loss prevention, fraud investigation, or customer experience
- Deep understanding of Indian retail workflows and compliance procedures
- Reliable availability for at least 10 hours per week
How you'll work
- Fully remote independent contractor role (1099)
- Flexible schedule with no fixed hours or micromanagement
- Minimum commitment of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week
- Contractors manage their own tax obligations
- Not suitable as a primary full-time income source
