Lead the Indonesian Web Hosting SysAdmin team at Hostinger, managing over 1,600 bare-metal servers across multiple data centers. This position balances technical leadership, including debugging and automation, with people management duties such as hiring, coaching, and shift planning.
You will coordinate with global teams in Lithuania and Brazil to ensure 24/7 coverage while driving AI adoption in operations. Although you own incident response and shift design, you are not personally on the on-call rotation.
What you'll do
- Lead the Indonesian SysAdmin team and design shift coverage without joining the rotation
- Manage incident response, customer communication, and postmortems within SLA
- Serve as the escalation point for complex hosting and security cases
- Perform hands-on diagnostics and optimization on CloudLinux and LiteSpeed stacks
- Implement automation using Ansible, Prometheus, and Grafana to reduce manual work
- Drive AI adoption for automated ticket resolution and assisted diagnosis
- Hire, onboard, and coach team members while managing performance reviews
- Coordinate daily with global teams in Lithuania and Brazil on technical decisions
What you'll need
- 3+ years supporting enterprise-scale Linux environments and database tuning
- 1+ year leading or mentoring engineering or sysadmin teams with shift work
- Hands-on experience with cPanel/WHM, LiteSpeed, Apache/Nginx, and MariaDB
- Strong understanding of on-premises and bare-metal infrastructure
- Experience with security hardening and malware response on shared hosting
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Ansible
- Previous experience hiring technical staff and conducting interviews
- C1-C2 level English proficiency
