Join Hostinger's Web Hosting Infrastructure team to build the foundation powering millions of websites. You will collaborate with system, software, and network engineers to ensure high performance and resilience under pressure.
This role emphasizes writing playbooks rather than following them. You will automate repetitive tasks, optimize systems, and share knowledge to strengthen the entire engineering team.
What you'll do
- Design and implement features to improve platform speed and scalability
- Deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
- Monitor system metrics like latency and capacity to ensure reliability
- Tune systems to remove bottlenecks and simplify complexity
- Enhance monitoring and alerting to prevent potential outages
- Mentor peers and review code to raise engineering standards
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of strong Linux OS experience
- Proficiency in Ansible for automation tasks
- Scripting skills in Python or Go
- Experience managing web servers, databases, and caching systems
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP
- Solid understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, and HTTP networking
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code principles
Nice to have
- Experience with DevOps practices and open-source contributions
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools beyond GitHub Actions
- Ability to read and understand Go and PHP code
- Holding RHCSA or RHCE certifications
