Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a professional to design, maintain, and monitor networks for a government client. You will manage systems, applications, and security protocols while resolving performance issues and providing technical support.
The role requires enforcing information security policies and implementing security plans to meet regulatory standards. You will optimize hardware and software functionality to ensure availability and reliability of servers.
What you'll do
- Install and configure software and hardware for classified networked systems
- Administer and maintain multiple assigned systems
- Optimize hardware and software performance for reliability
- Implement Information Systems Security Plans and policies
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software malfunctions
- Manage system patches and enhancements without compromising integrity
- Develop standard procedures for account establishment and recovery
- Identify corrective actions for unusual or complex system problems
What you'll need
- Minimum 2 years of relevant system administration experience
- 2 years experience in SAP or SCI environments within last 5 years
- Active Top-Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II or III certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and/or VMware administration
- Knowledge of DISA STIG implementation and RMF compliance
Nice to have
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell or Python
- Experience supporting DoD program or acquisition offices
- Background in cloud computing and information security
