Join a product engineering team dedicated to improving how employers find relevant talent. You will build and maintain web applications that power talent matching, rediscovery, and search relevance.
The role involves close collaboration with Product, Design, Data, and Machine Learning partners. You will spend most of your time coding features, fixing bugs, and optimizing system performance for large-scale talent pools.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain web-based applications for talent discovery
- Build product capabilities for talent matching and rediscovery
- Implement search and matching systems using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
- Apply AI and ML techniques to improve ranking and search relevance
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable production code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and Design
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience writing production software
- Proficiency in Ruby, C#, Java, or Python (Ruby on Rails preferred)
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals with React experience
- Full-stack experience across backend systems, APIs, and frontend
- Production experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
- Experience building search, ranking, or matching systems
- Practical experience applying AI/ML to production applications
- Based in Argentina with availability for US/Canada time zone overlap
Nice to have
- Strong experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch at scale
- Knowledge of semantic search, embeddings, and recommendation systems
- Experience building observability and testing mechanisms for search
- Familiarity with analytical databases
- Background in product-focused engineering environments
- Understanding of trade-offs between relevance, latency, and cost
