Doit is building AI-driven tools to help users manage spending, saving, and investing across Southeast Asia. As a Technical Lead, you will own the technical execution for major systems, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on development.
You will work in a distributed environment, collaborating with international teams to scale reliable backend and frontend solutions. The position requires strong English communication skills and the ability to drive projects from concept to production.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, conduct reviews, and solve production problems
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and raise overall engineering quality standards
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong skills in system design for high-scale applications
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Track record of leading engineering projects to production
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
