The Technical Lead will own the execution of major engineering initiatives, balancing hands-on coding with high-level architecture decisions. You will help scale systems and raise engineering standards in a distributed, international environment.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, conduct reviews, and solve production problems
- Make architecture trade-offs regarding speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong skills in system design for high-scale environments
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Proven track record of leading projects from design to production
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and influence teams
Nice to have
- Experience scaling engineering teams during significant growth
- Background working across multiple products or countries
