Doit is reinventing personal finance through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As a Technical Lead, you will own the execution of major engineering initiatives, designing scalable systems while remaining actively involved in coding and problem-solving.
You will collaborate with a distributed international team to raise engineering standards, make critical architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers. The role requires translating ambiguous product needs into clear technical solutions for high-scale systems.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, prototype features, and conduct code reviews
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product problems into technical execution plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong skills in system design and architecture for high-scale apps
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Track record of leading engineering projects from design to production
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
