Doit is reinventing personal finance through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As a Technical Lead, you will own the execution of major engineering initiatives, designing scalable systems while remaining actively involved in coding and problem-solving.
You will collaborate with a distributed international team to build reliable backend, frontend, and infrastructure solutions. The role requires turning ambiguous product challenges into clear technical plans and raising overall engineering quality.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, prototype, review, and debug alongside the team
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product problems into technical execution plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud
- Strong system design skills for complex or high-scale environments
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with strong coding skills
- Track record of leading engineering projects from design to production
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and solve production issues
Nice to have
- Experience scaling engineering teams or practices during growth
- Background operating across multiple products, markets, or countries
