Doit is reinventing personal finance through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As a Technical Lead, you will own the execution of major engineering initiatives, designing scalable systems while remaining deeply involved in coding and problem-solving.
You will collaborate with a distributed international team to build reliable backend, frontend, and infrastructure solutions. The role requires turning ambiguous product challenges into clear technical plans and raising overall engineering quality.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and database architectures
- Write code, prototype features, and conduct code reviews
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product problems into technical solutions
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
- Improve system design, testing, security, and observability
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong system design skills for high-scale applications
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and solve complex problems

- Experience scaling engineering teams or systems during growth
- Background working across multiple products or countries
