Doit is building AI-driven tools to help users manage spending, saving, and investing across Southeast Asia. As a Technical Lead, you will own the execution of major engineering initiatives, designing scalable systems while remaining hands-on with code.
You will collaborate with a distributed international team to solve complex production problems and raise engineering standards. This position requires strong communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, conduct reviews, and debug production issues
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong skills in system design for high-scale applications
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Strong English communication skills
