Doit is reinventing personal finance through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As a Technical Lead, you will own the execution of major engineering initiatives, balancing system design with active coding to support millions of users.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, prototype, review, and debug alongside the team
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product problems into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and raise overall engineering quality standards
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong system design skills for high-scale complex environments
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with strong coding skills
- Track record of leading major projects from design to production
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and solve production issues
Nice to have
- Experience scaling engineering teams or practices during growth
- Background operating across multiple products or international markets
