As a Technical Lead, you will own the technical execution for major systems, balancing speed, scalability, and reliability while remaining deeply involved in coding and architecture.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and engineering initiatives
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, database, and infrastructure systems
- Write code, prototype, review peers, and solve production issues alongside the team
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and maintainability
- Translate ambiguous product problems into clear technical solutions
- Mentor engineers and raise standards for testing, security, and observability
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure
- Strong skills in system design and architecture for high-scale environments
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with strong coding capabilities
- Track record of leading major engineering projects from design to production
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and influence engineering teams
Nice to have
- Experience scaling engineering teams or practices during significant growth
- Background operating across multiple products, markets, or countries
