BJAK is expanding beyond insurance into payments, remittance, wealth, and trading with an AI-native finance superapp. As Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of handling real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to ship trusted financial products. The role requires deep technical understanding to shape system architecture while ensuring correctness and auditability in a distributed team environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and scalability
- Balance trade-offs between speed, cost, reliability, and regulations
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy into product features
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation methods
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party partners
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and finance teams on decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years in product management for complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech
- Ability to make trade-offs under regulatory and operational constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability assessment
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
