KIRA is building an AI-native finance superapp covering payments, insurance, wealth, and trading in Southeast Asia. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the reliability required for moving real money.
You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to deliver secure, auditable, and trusted financial products. The role demands deep technical understanding and experience in regulated fintech domains.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design for APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with safeguards, human oversight, and clear evaluation methods
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated fintech
- Skill in making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
