KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI finance superapp covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing technical design, regulatory compliance, and AI integration to build reliable financial tools.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Collaborate with engineering on API design, data flows, and scalability
- Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and reliability
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI features with clear safeguards and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage external dependencies including regulatory approvals and partners
- Align cross-functional teams including Compliance, Ops, and Finance
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong technical foundation in APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
