KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI finance superapp covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while leveraging AI where it genuinely adds value.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to shape technical designs and drive product delivery. The role demands a balance of strategic vision and deep technical understanding to build trusted, auditable financial tools for users across Asia.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design with engineering on APIs, data flows, and security
- Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate regulatory requirements like KYC and transaction monitoring
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and partners
- Align cross-functional teams around product decisions and launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers on technical designs
- Background in payments, banking, insurance, or regulated fintech domains
- Ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products including reliability checks
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
