KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive AI finance superapp covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance while integrating AI where it genuinely adds value.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to deliver secure, auditable financial products. The role demands a balance of technical depth, product judgment, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes in a distributed global team.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical end-to-end including strategy, roadmap, and delivery
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into product
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating with engineers on technical design and reviews
- Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading
- Ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI products, focusing on reliability
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
