KIRA is expanding its leading insurance platform into a comprehensive finance superapp covering payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. As a Technical Product Lead, you will own a specific product vertical, balancing AI innovation with the strict reliability and regulatory demands of handling real money.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, compliance, and operations to define strategy, shape technical architecture, and ensure successful delivery. The role requires strong judgment in making trade-offs between speed, cost, correctness, and user experience within a regulated environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails
- Align engineering, design, compliance, and operations on launch goals
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated domains
- Proven ability to make trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation
- Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
Nice to have
- Engineering or highly technical product background
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM products
