BJAK is expanding beyond insurance to help users manage spending, saving, and investing through an AI-native Superapp. This role leads a product vertical where reliability, regulatory compliance, and financial accuracy are critical.
You will define strategy, shape technical design with engineering teams, and ensure AI features are trustworthy and auditable. The position requires balancing speed with strict regulatory and operational constraints in a distributed environment.
What you'll do
- Own product vertical strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end
- Shape technical design across APIs, data flows, ledgering, and security
- Drive trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory needs
- Integrate KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy requirements into products
- Apply AI with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight mechanisms
- Manage launches involving regulatory approvals and third-party financial rails
- Align Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations on product decisions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products
- Strong foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs with engineers
- Experience in payments, banking, insurance, trading, or regulated fintech domains
- Strong judgment for making trade-offs under technical and regulatory constraints
- Experience building with LLMs or AI, including reliability and evaluation methods
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration

- Engineering background or highly technical product experience
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
- Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
